URBAN CHIC is moving. 🥹💐🤍🫶🏻✨💫🤩
On October 1st, we’ll begin a brand new chapter in a space that, ironically enough, I have dreamed about having since the very beginning.
And when I say dreamed about it… I mean I have literally prayed for this.
I remember being 16 years old, working my very first job at Maurices. I had no idea that first job, would pave the road to my future & my calling. I can remember dreaming about what it would be like to have a store of my own one day. Not just somewhere to sell clothes, but somewhere women could walk into and feel good about themselves. Somewhere they felt loved, encouraged, confident, and welcomed.
I had no idea what that dream would look like or how I would ever get there. I just knew it was something God had placed so deeply on my heart.
Years later, here I am… from the very beginning, my prayer over this business has been that it would never be just a boutique. I’ve prayed that when you walk through my doors, you feel something different. That you feel loved. That you feel seen. That you feel encouraged. And more than anything, that somehow, even in something as simple as shopping for clothes.. you feel the presence and love of God.
There have been so many highs and lows behind the scenes. So many prayers. So many moments of wondering what was next. So many times I’ve had to trust God when I couldn’t see what he was doing.
And then an opportunity like this comes along… in a place I’ve dreamed about for years.
It’s hard not to look back at that 16-year-old girl and get emotional.
Because she would be so proud. 🤍
You’re the reason I get to wake up and do something I love every single day. You’ve supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, shopped with me, shared my posts, told your friends about my little shop, and continued showing up through every season.

Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for believing in Urban Chic. Thank you for loving this business, but even more than that, thank you for loving me through it all.
I could never repay you for what each of you have given me.
I’m hoping for a seamless transition, and for God to continue using this business in ways I could never accomplish on my own, and for every person who walks through our new doors to know just how loved they are.
There is so much I can’t wait to share with you.
