For some abuse starts young.

And others are met with it in their adult years.

But neither are ok. Neither are deserved. And neither are your fault.

For many abuse survivors we tend to blame ourselves for those actions made towards us by someone that was supposed to love and protect us.

It isn’t you. Believe me when I say, “It really isn’t you.”

Rawhide Gypsy is a clothing brand and equine services brand dedicated to giving back to families in abuse.

If you stand against abuse, support the cause.

No kind dead is wasted.

That is the biggest confession you'll ever hear from a woman who has survived abuse.

"I am scared."

Scared to fight back, scared to leave, scared to speak up, and scared to tell her story.

But there will come a time...when she will roar!

She will break the hold he had on her and she becomes unstoppable.

If you are in the depths of it and don't know when you will ever feel the courage to speak up, know this... it does come.

Until then, take all the time you need to show yourself the love that he never could.

You deserve kindness, even if it starts with your own.
