Chattooga River Fly Shop is located in the heart of the South Carolina mountains, at 6832-A Highlands Hwy. Just 8 & 7 miles from the delayed harvest sections of the Chattooga & Chauga rivers. We are 9.7 miles from Burrell’s Ford Road & 13.9 miles from the Walhalla Fish Hatchery which is located on the East Fork of the Chattooga River.

A day we look forward to every year is with the students who attend Camp Wildwood of South Carolina doing streamside entomology on the East Fork at the Walhalla State Fish Hatchery. Today we learned all about bug life living beneath the surface and the importance of them related to fly fishing. Thanks for helping out with our stream exploration guide Chan Cottingham . We look forward to seeing new students next year!!
