Throwback to June 2023 when a dear friend, Yolanda Coppola brought me in as Costume Creator, Tailor and Stitcher 🪡🧵 for Shania Twain’s Queen of Me Tour at GEODIS Park in Nashville.

As I’m backstage, stitching away I’m surrounded by the sound of Shania, Wynonna Judd, and Tanya Tucker warming up together! A real “pinch me” moment in my career, for sure!

You’re getting the first look, and so is Beni.

What started as scraps of family fabric in Hannah Harper’s American Idol audition dress is now our own trademarked fabric, and we’re soft launching it here, on a 16-month-old tour pro. We made this little patchwork dress for Lauren Alaina’s daughter so she could twin with Hannah on the road.

Is this the only thing we have planned for this fabric? Not even close. Keep your eyes here, and maybe dust off that sewing machine.

Did I move to Nashville? Nope. Am I there all the time? Basically.

Most recently I was in town for America’s Tailgate on CBS, working with John Legend

Jumped off a plane after a trip around the world and went straight to work. Jet lag? Never heard of her.

Home base is just down the road, but my suitcase has given up on getting unpacked.

All this Nashville time has me feeling a little sentimental, might be time for a trip down memory lane!

“Strawberry Shortcake”

Dreamed up by Tish Yates for Hannah Harper with inspiration from a 1980s Vintage McCall’s pattern. The fabric was sourced from Six Sisters Mercantile, LLC, right down the road from us! Meticulously embellished with rhinestones in “Siam” from Planet Rhinestone

This funky ruffled piece made it’s stage debut last week, opening for Brad Paisley 🎶

Like Hannah Harper, Stitch by Tish calls the heart of the Missouri Ozarks “Home”.

Even our Rhinestoning Assistant’s Assistant - Captains a boat down a big river half of the year! When he’s not hand-placing thousands of crystals on Hannah’s stage wear, that is!

He knows his way around a river and the studio 🤣

This particular dress, “Strawberry Shortcake” was recently worn on tour with Brad Paisley

Oh, so you're an artist, huh?

Guilty. My favorite canvas this year was my friend, Betsy and the medium was her wedding gown made from her Grandmother’s tablecloth!

I sketched with tape, sculpted in muslin, and cut every piece of lace by hand so each flower landed right where it belonged. Then it went to the beach and became part of her love story.

Betsy, thank you for trusting me with something so precious.
