Granma and Me

Granma and Me Sewing, quilting and crochet This adventure started a few years ago when my granddaughter asked for a sewing machine for her birthday.

The next year she requested quilting lessons for her birthday. She already knew how to crochet and was making tons of really cute baby items. She took right to the quilting, got me started doing it, and from there she branched into making clothing. I have been sewing clothing since I was in 4H. We get together as often as we can to sew. Between the two of us we are now up to 6 sewing machines, thr

ee sergers and an embroidery machine. We have lots of fun together and her two children have grown up in the sewing room, on our laps, working on projects.

Our Story

Between the two of us we are now up to 6 sewing machines, four sergers, two quilting machines and an embroidery machine. We have lots of fun together and her two children have grown up in the sewing room, on our laps, working on projects. Now my great granddaughter is learning to sew. She got her own machine on her 4th birthday and is on her way. The great grandson states that he wants a green sewing machine. That's gonna be a tough one LOL.
