To every single one of you who took the time to vote for us—thank you. Your support means more than words can express.

From the day we opened our doors, our hope was to create more than just a shop. We wanted Honey Bee to be a little haven—a place where you could slow down, find inspiration, discover beautiful heirloom pieces, and simply feel at home. Knowing that so many of you experienced it that way is the greatest compliment we could ever receive.

Being recognized during our final year in this beloved brick-and-mortar makes this honor even more meaningful. As we prepare to close this chapter, you've reminded us that what mattered most was never just the shop itself, but the friendships, conversations, and community we built together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us, shopping small, and allowing us to be part of your lives over these past 3.5 years. We will treasure these memories forever.

You should always celebrate your wins. 🐝

When I was 10 years old, it wasn't yet legal for a woman to own her own business without a man co-signing for her.

When I was 20 years old, I sketched the layout of my dream store and wrote my first business plan.

When I was 45 years old, I unlocked the doors to my very first brick-and-mortar shop. A dream I had carried for decades had finally come true—35 years after it had become legal for me to pursue it on my own.

People often asked why I chose the name Honey Bee. It was inspired by my faith. Throughout the Bible, honey represents God's provision, spiritual nourishment, and the sweetness of His Word. Honey bees also remind me that abundance is created through community. A hive flourishes because every bee has a purpose, just as our communities thrive when we support one another.

For 3.5 wonderful years, I had the privilege of welcoming you into that little shop. And while this chapter has now come to a close, it doesn't lessen what it meant or what it took to build it. I don't look back with sadness—I look back with overwhelming gratitude. I feel richly blessed by every friendship, every conversation, every customer, and every ounce of support you've given me along the way.

So I've decided it's time to celebrate.

I gave myself a gift to mark this beautiful season of my life—a pink bee box. 🩷🐝 It represents everything Honey Bee meant to me. Every time I see it, I'll remember those years with joy. I'll remember the dream that became reality. I'll remember the community we built together. And I'll remind myself to be proud of what I accomplished.

As I look toward new goals and new dreams with The Nested Bee, I'm taking a moment to honor the ones God has already allowed me to achieve.

If there's one thing I'd love for you to take away from this, it's this:

Celebrate your achievements—no matter how big or how small. Don't rush past them. Pause. Reflect. Give yourself grace. Be kind to yourself. Love yourself in every season of life.

God isn't finished writing your story... and He's not finished writing mine either. ✨

Today we're celebrating the rich history, enduring spirit, and timeless beauty of this country we call home.

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day, we hope your day is filled with laughter, good food, cherished traditions, and moments that become treasured memories.

To our wonderful customers—thank you for supporting small businesses, preserving history through vintage treasures, and helping keep the stories of the past alive.

We love you all so much! Thank you for an absolutely amazing final weekend! Those of you who came and those of you who couldn't but called to let us know how much you loved the store. We had a few tears and a lot of hugs. Every moment meant so much to us!

We hope you will continue to follow along as we update you on the progress of our new pop-up shop! In the meantime, we'll be on WhatNot having lots of fun with you during our live sales.

Our estate sales will also be posted as they come along. The next one being in August.

You are all so special to us and we could not feel more blessed to share our love of decorating with vintage and antiques with you. Our hearts are full.
