Every bride and every gown have a story. Sometimes it’s an easy beautiful story and sometimes a nerve wracking yet hopeful story. This beautiful bride’s story was one of the latter. Such high hopes from the beginning, choosing the wedding gown shop she wanted to go to, to being let down by a business with no apologies. However, what she thought would be an impossible feat to get her dress to become her dream gown, ended quite differently. She came to Pink Petal Designs with a picture in her mind of how she wanted to look on her special day, and I made sure it happened. Becca, you look absolutely beautiful in your gown, and you would never have known that your dress had been altered. Thank you for your confidence in me and the work that I love to do. No matter what they envision, at Pink Petal Designs, my goal is to do my best to help it come true. I had the privilege to help a beautiful bride and her family with their alterations. This beautiful gal is one in a million! When she first called me in late Spring to set up an appointment, she already had her dress and was excited to get started on her alterations. Before her first fitting, she called and told me that the Bridal shop contacted her and told her that another bride had ordered the same dress but it came in and it wasn’t what she ordered. It seems a new one wouldn’t be available in time, so they asked if Katie would be so gracious to give her dress and they would reorder her a new one as they had more time to do that. She immediately said yes! Now I don’t know of any other bride that would be willing to give their dream dress away to someone else. When she asked if it would be possible to schedule another appointment when her new dress came in, I told her I didn’t care if it was the week of the wedding, I would have those alterations done! Katie Elmore, you are truly beautiful inside and out and it was my pleasure being a part of your special day. 💕 More photos to come, as her sisters and mother were clients as well.
