Annalisa Hats sells beautiful lightweight hats and bags made out of high-quality natural and eco-friendly Raffia fibers and are hand-woven in Madagascar by a local artisan. Annalisa Hats is a fair trade company and the purchase of our product provides sustainable income to the Islanders of Madagascar as well as their traditional eco-friendly crafting skills. d bags are made from giant leaves of a specific palm tree that grows primarily in Madagascar. The leaves are dried out, pulled into thin strips, woven, dyed (if colored) and sewn by hand into the hat or bag. Raffia is a very flexible material which makes our hats easily packable/foldable for traveling. Additonally, it allows the owner of our shapeable hats to style the brim in many different ways and makes the hat a unique and very fashionable product. Our hats offer UPF 50+/SPF 30+ sun protection and are therefore perfectly suitable for time spent outside. All of our hats can fit most size heads.
