Well, we did it! We made both happen! 🤩

After days and days of voting, lots of comments, and so many back and forths, Katie and I realized that we had a problem - no-one wanted to give up their favorite (including us)!

So, Katie reached out to her supplier, told them our dilemma, and somehow was able to work a little magic so that she could offer BOTH color ways for Woodland Wander! Now you can choose the box that feels the most like you - or you can grab both if you still can’t decide! 😄

Want to know one of my favorite things about Katie and My Little Shindig? It never feels intimidating.

If you don’t already know Katie, let me introduce you to one of my favorite people in this little corner of the internet. And talk a little about something we’ve been working on together.

Katie is the fun and fierce force behind . She curates fabrics, clubs, and bagmaking supplies in a way that just makes sense, and the community she’s built around it is full of people who actually cheer each other on. I love that.

We’ve been working on something together and I’m not going to lie, it’s been SO fun. (I case you can’t tell yet, we like to have fun. 😂)

This September (25th-27th), I’ll be attending and teaching two classes at the brand new Sew Sweet Retreat in Hershey, Pennsylvania! I’m so excited for this retreat because, well...chocolate! But also…hanging out with my sewing friends!

I’ll be teaching the Jot It Down Notebook Cover on Friday morning and the Scoops Ahoy Tote on Saturday morning. For both classes you have the option to purchase a class kit or pre-cut and prep all of the materials yourself prior to the retreat, using your own stash.

We’re going to have a lot of fun! I have a few extra surprises and goodies planned for each class. I hope to see you there!

I had the best time making up this set this past week with my Patreon members for our Spring Sew-Along. And as promised, I took it with me to the fair today at Centennial Park and tried to get a couple photos. I may be a bit of an awkward model and had a quick cameo from my puppy dog, but hey…it’s all good.

I’m a sucker for a good matching set. And this set right here is as about as good as it gets. 😍 This is the Full Moon River with a matching Jot It Down RE notebook cover. The notebook cover was edge painted which gives it the most lustrous finish.

This As You Wish turned out even more beautiful than I had envisioned. Here I used vinyl for the exterior. The print is Sunset Shimmer and available in the current round from . 🏃‍♀️

It’s so hard to get the extent of how pretty it is in photos. But these colors together are stunning. I used a solid vinyl for the gusset and main sides with the embossed webbing around and for the strap. To secure the flap, I used a turn lock.

Have you heard? I’m headed to the land of Chocolate!! 😍 That’s right. This September I’m headed to Hershey, PA to teach at the Sew Sweet Retreat to teach two classes.

The first class I’m featuring is the Scoops Ahoy Tote. I have some fun things planned for this one (and some goodies, of course).
