With permission from my sweet bride, here are some process photos of what customization can look like. This dress took 3 separate fittings and a final/pick up.
For the first fitting we pinned the dress to fit her form and then marked up muslin for modesty.
For the second fitting we were able to mark her hem (which was nearly perfect, just the tiniest trimming), I built the modesty pieces with ordered fabric from her dress maker and marked what needed altered. We pinned on a now fully lined sleeve to check comfort and fit.
For the third fitting I attached a sleeve and had most of the lace placed. I needed to move the arms eye closer to the body. The bride and I had a discussion on how the center back closure should look.
