Man, I’m so sad! I loved Dolly!
She loved Jesus and walked with Him like a friend.
She was exactly who she wanted to be, no apologies.
She loved everyone, no judgement. As we are called to do.
She was fierce in business and generous in life.
She was kind, joyful and just plain happy.
She loved one man her whole life.
She was a true Southern lady, exactly as we all should be.
The cherry on top…
She was a Vol fan,
She represented East Tennessee so well.
Our similar last names got me a great table in my favorite restaurant while we lived in her hometown. (Assuming sometimes gets you great things. 😉)
She sings my favorite song, “My Father’s Daughter”
Dolly was supposed to be my first dogs name, but my little boy won over the girls.
Heaven got a crazy concert this week!
Thank You for your example Dolly. May we all not only remember you, but be more like you. 💓
