About Me:

Who am I?

My name is Lorien. I was born here in North Platte, moved around a lot, then ended up back here about 14 years ago. I have a lovely husband, five lovely kids, and two sort-of lovely cats.

How long have I been sewing?

I’ve been sewing for over thirty-five years! I started out making clothes for my dolls, then moved on to making clothes for myself. Then I started quilting, then making clothes for other people, then making costumes, then making alterations and clothing reconstructions, and now I’m learning everything I can about drafting and designing my own patterns. I will soon be learning how to digitize my patterns and making them available to others as well!
