Hares To Ewe Wools As owner and sole artisan of Hares to Ewe Wools, Debbie Eigenberger relentlessly works to create her innovative designs.

Every product she makes shines with her dedication, ingenuity and sophisticated techniques thus illuminating her genuine artistry. Debbie's love for spinning began 20 years ago when she purchased a single Angora rabbit, Eddie. Although she had no intention on spinning the Angora wool, once she had realized how lovely the fiber was she then decided to purchase her first spinning wheel. From there D

ebbie with great effort learned through self teaching the art of spinning. She began working with fleeces she had recieved from a friend, and it was then that she realized spinning was more than a hobby. Shortly after Debbie and her husband Gerald left their city home behind and purchased a hobby farm in rural Elkhart Lake and began aqquiring animals of their own, what started with a single rabbit unfolded into 3 acres with several sheep. The number of sheep grew with every season, and shortly there after goats and llamas joined the growing herd, and in 2000 Debbie established Hares to Ewe Wools.

Thanks to all who visit us at the Elkhart Lake farmers market on Saturdays. Hares To Ewe has a small shop on the farm as well. We sell rovings, hand dyed/hand spun yarns. Give us a call and we will be happy to open up just for you!

Thank you all for joining us at the Elkhart Lake farmers market on Saturday! We will be taking Saturday the 5th off to work our hardest so we can bring you our new creations Saturday the 12th. Hope to see you at the Elkhart Lake farmers market on the 12th of August!

We will be at WC Fair park on Nov 21st! We have not participated in as many fairs as we usually have done in the past due to the custom orders we have received. As you know, from start to finish, hand dyed, spun and unique knitted product is a very time consuming process and we appreciate all of those who understand the craft and artistry that this process requires. We thank all of you for following us and we hope to see some new faces in West Bend on the 21st!

"The Hawk" Vintage racing event takes place this weekend at Road America. We are excited for all of you to visit Downtown Elkhart on Saturday!
