Today I was going through some of my old pictures and came across this picture. It’s one that I love, because this picture exudes beauty, wealth, strength & confidence

I needed a reminder to my current me of what resilience looks like … so I chose this picture

So I have a goal ! I need to make $350 a day from now until Dec 31 (98 days) to reach my goal

Excuse me if I’m available less, I’m working towards something absolutely huge

I’m cutting distractions, laying low and focused… but when it’s done- I’m rejoicing big

I made it through another work week
I booked three new clients
I am partnering with on my 3rd business

My students grew 33% from last year
I led a successful prayer meeting at church
I’ve been exercising every morning
I found my venue for brunching with bosses

I’m learning to celebrate the small wins as I work towards bigger goals

Today ends Day 1 of 21 Days of Fasting

Here’s my revelation today: Until you remove what’s hindering you, you will never experience full freedom and victory

This morning I was in my prayer closet; trying to pray but not successful. So I just sat there, in tears, angry and upset and I asked God to give me a word for where I was at that very moment and he took me to this scripture: ( one I don’t ever remember reading before )

Joshua 7:13
Go consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says: There are devoted though among you, Israel . You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them

Here’s the revelation I received:
Before I can go to the next dimension in faith, finances or favor , I have to go get the things that are cursed in my life and destroy them

Cursed things are anything that don’t bring God glory. I started to repent because I knew what I needed to do; block a few numbers, deleted ALL of my text thread, removed every voice mail and really make a decision to not enter in my destiny holding on to the things of my past

It’s only Day 1 & I feel God all through my life . It’s time for stillness, obedience & boldness

Memories Matter:

This picture was taken less than 2 years ago . It was October 2020. Jaial was 4 months old. Bryce was with his dad and I was emotionally drained, tired and in a relationship that was no longer serving me

I remember waking up and feeling like I needed to run away. So I did, I gassed my car up; packed our bags, grabbed my breast pump and drove to Mississippi

We stayed at a nice hotel, went shopping , went to the beach & got away from life for a few minutes

My girls never knew what was happening.
Today, not even two years later, I’m in a much better space emotionally and mentally
