I have a really old fence plier carrier that was made by the Victor Ario shop in Great Falls Montana. Kinda decided I should probably quit using it as parts of it were getting quite checked. I took the design and made some modifications. Over the course of a couple evenings I put a handful together. Had to go to the high country today and deal with some wandering cows and fix a little fence so I hung one of the new ones on my kahk. As long as your pliers ain't got them heavy rubber grips these have a nice snug fit. I have a few available $45 each

Delwynne Trefz floating spade. Sterling overlays, 5&1/4" wide mouth. Delwynne stepped away from bit and spur making a few years back and his bits are sought after and hard to find. The last year they had the Spade Bit Makers competition at The Californio's Delwynne walked away the winner. $850.00. It's been a while since we have had one of his bits in the shop. Greg

Juan Echavarria 1847-1917. Born in Chile he immigrated to the US in 1869. By 1884 he was listed as a blacksmith in San Jose. Listed as a bit and spur maker in 1888. This spade is unmarked but Juan's very distinctive alternating foliage engraving style says it all
Mouth is a hair over 5&1/8" wide and 4&3/8" tall. The forward wrapped Canon bar is oval shaped. A premium piece to add to your collection on hang on your best horse. $2750.00. Greg
