Jonas Van den Bossche is a Belgian guitarist now based in the United States, and a quietly pivotal presence in Orlando’s avant-underground. For over three decades he has explored noise, free jazz, and improvised music on guitar, moving fluidly between written songs and open-ended improvisation.

Jonas embraces contradiction and change, letting his playing flow from noise to melody to silence and back again, often in a single piece. His composed work has been described as “intricate, expressive, and quietly mesmerizing”.

Jonas has performed across Europe, Russia, and the U.S. with collaborators including Ryosuke Kiyasu, Dylan Fujioka, Reona Tap, Mike Bagetta, Danny Kamins, Ana Gamboa, Killick Hinds, Karen Willems, Ilia Belorukov, Tatsuya Nakatani, and many others.
