I finished a new set of reins.

7'3" roping reins with a diameter of 9mm at the core braid. The inner core is solid cattle leather and the braiding around that is kangaroo leather. All strings are beveled by me. The turnbacks are backbraided and then taped for stability. The knots on the connectors are sliding knots.

I finished a set of reins.

Roping reins are 7'3" with the connectors. The core is solid leather and the braid around it is an 8-string braid measuring 9mm in diameter. All strings are kangaroo leather and beveled by me. The turnbacks are backbraided and taped for stability. The small round pineapple knots have another knot beneath for shaping. The knots on the connectors slide.

Edging is best done old-school...but sometimes it's good to have some back-up.

My small tote. Only about 12"x12" at the top and tapers a bit to the bottom. The strap has about a 9" drop. Perfect for a wallet, lip balm, and phone. Scuffed and soft. A great bag for traveling light.
