Introducing Bandit Barcelona with Odda.
A little over a year ago, we sat down for breakfast with our familia at Odda—an amazing run specialty shop out of Madrid who had recently begun carrying Bandit. Santi, Amaya, Dani, and Juan Pablo painted a vision of bringing something extraordinarily special to Barcelona together: a flagship that combined both of our brands, centering the entire space and experience around fostering connection and community.
L’Espai—Catalan for “The Space”—was born.
Designed by Atienza Maure (Atienza Maure), a Spanish architectural practice specializing in artistic rehabilitation, L’Espai preserves the building’s original materiality while breathing new life into the structure. Its expansive floor plan blurs the lines between indoors and out, while elements uncovered during construction are transformed and woven back into the architecture—original stone partitions meticulously cut into small pieces and reassembled in new forms, with marble, brick, and rail appearing in unexpected applications throughout.
Bandit’s entrance on the left, Odda’s on the right, and connected through a dedicated and open communal café towards the back with runner-friendly furniture and a fully open glass wall bringing natural sunlight and plant life in to the room. A full wellness area offers sauna, ice baths, showers, lockers, bag drop, and bathroom for all runners to make use of at their leisure. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Bandit Flagship if it wasn’t outfitted in an 8-piece custom surround-sound listening experience designed by Custom Oscillating Mechanics.
