✊🏾 Did you know a FBA Black🧬 man👑 introduced dry cleaning to United States?
-
Thomas L. Jennings worked as a skilled tailor and while working with fabrics—silk, wool, and other delicate materials—he faced a persistent problem: traditional washing methods often ruined expensive garments. Water and soap could shrink or stain delicate fabrics, leaving them permanently damaged.
-
Through careful experimentation, he developed a process he called “dry scouring”—a method of cleaning clothes without water, using chemical solvents instead. This innovation revolutionized garment care and became the foundation for what we now know as dry cleaning.
-
In1821, Jennings was granted Patent No. X3306 for his dry scouring process at the age of thirty, making him one of the first Black Americans to receive a U.S. patent—an extraordinary accomplishment not only for what he invented but for the fact that he could legally claim ownership of his creation.

Rather, you chose to be Democrat or Republican, this fact does not change. Also don’t come on here all in your emotions because you’re loyal to one party or can’t take the fact that not everybody sees the world the way you do. This page focuses on black American Friedman or FBI lineage Who are all different religions, who vote the way they choose and Moor. If you can’t understand that go ahead and Unfollow right now.

Did you know the Black Panther party created programs that the US now takes credits for?!?!
-
Originally, the Black Panthers was labeled a Black hate group...because they fought back but in many ways. Not just physically but medically, socially and more✊🏾
-
Unfortunately, this amazing group of Black men and women would be sabotage by WS politicians, and even the government because of what they do for their own black community.
-
Loving who you are, learning your true history, focusing on your own people and group needs first and knowing your right to self defense does not mean you hate other people. Others do it all the time. It’s only when Black American Freedmen lineage do it that it’s the problem.
-
If you want more information on the Black Panthers, I encourage you to please Google for further research. Please share with someone who can use this info. Happy Super Soul Sunday!

✊🏾 Did you know an 🧬Black man introduced catering to United States?
-
Although the term “caterer” was not used until the 1860s, Black American entrepreneur Robert Bogle is credited as starting the practice here in America.
-
Bogle was born in 1774 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In his adulthood, he began his journey by opening an upscale eatery in Philadelphia. The once known master chef became recognized for not only his elegant restaurant but his popular foods. Bogle would expand his services to cooking and serving his delicacies at elaborate weddings, funerals and banquets for his wealthy clients. Both black and white. Others would follow this Black man’s idea and the term “catering” was later developed to describe the practice.
-
Bogle also ran a funeral business where he would serve food to the families. He was known as an important contributor to any social event in Philadelphia. While many are unaware of this successful Black American man, he was once such a famous fixture of the city of Philadelphia’s social scene.
-
It is because of Robert Bogle that catering not only has a name but makes up part of a billion dollar food service industry.

Did You Know a Black🧬 Freedmen Woman created central heating system?
-
Alice H. Parker is the reason many of us will stay warm this winter. In 1919 she revolutionized home heating. Her design drew in cool air, warmed it in a furnace, and pushed heated air through ducts into different rooms of the house. This meant families no longer had to chop wood, breathe in smoke, or keep dangerous fires burning overnight. Parker’s innovation made heating safer, more efficient, and more comfortable — the blueprint for the systems we rely on today.

Freedmen Fact: This actually came about as Black American Freedmen always had to make a way with less money. I remember and many people actually still do.
-
Just reminiscing on this slightly chilly night. I appreciate what I have now but I never forget some of the things that money can’t buy from then . My grandmother and mother used to do it faithfully during many cold mornings and evenings. Me and my cousins used to ball up together in front of the oven. It still works too. You leave that thing open too long in the whole house be hot as hell though.
-
Us Black American freedmen may be from different places but no matter where, there’s always one of us somewhere that can relate to
-
This is not a negative post at all. Don’t make it one by coming on here what shouldn’t be done. If you cannot relate, move on with your life.

Did you know a Black town sit beneath Lake Martin?

Thanks to John Benson, who purchased thousands of acres of land and sold them to Black families, a thriving town was born in Alabama. The community, known as Benson (also known as Kowaliga,) built its own brickyard, sawmill, cotton gin, schools, homes, a railroad, and multiple Black-owned businesses. It was a model of self-sufficiency and Black progress.
-
But in 1926, the creation of Lake Martin buried Kowaliga under 41,000 acres of water. Today the lake is a popular tourist destination with 700 miles of shoreline — but most visitors have no idea they are boating and swimming above a Black town. This wasn’t the only one.
-
Another Black settlement, Susanna, Alabama, also sits beneath Lake Martin. Susanna was one of the earliest settlements in Tallapoosa County. It had farms, a bank, a gold mine, a school, a post office, mills, a blacksmith shop, a church, and thriving businesses. Entire families built their lives there, only for it all to be drowned beneath the lake.

Did you know the Black community of Linnentown sits beneath the University of Georgia?
-
Linnentown was a 22-acre Black neighborhood in Athens, Georgia. As early as 1900, Black families began to settle there, and over the next sixty years it grew into a self-sustaining community. Its residents were not only families but skilled tradesmen, business owners, and professionals who were vital members of Athens: plumbers, electricians, beauticians, brick masons, housekeepers, cooks, and more.
-
They were also tax-paying citizens who built real generational wealth through land ownership, homes, and durable goods. By every measure, Linnentown was thriving. That success drew unwanted attention. By the 1960s, the University of Georgia decided it wanted the land. Working with city and state officials, the school used eminent domain to force residents out.

Did You Know an 🧬Black Man improved the flush toilet we use today?✨✊🏾
-
J.B. Rhodes is his name and in the 1890s, Rhodes patented a water-closet invention that improved sanitation and made bathrooms more efficient and accessible. His design refined the flushing system, helping to reduce waste buildup and improve cleanliness in homes at a time when poor sanitation caused widespread health problems.
-
Rhodes’s contribution is often overlooked, yet his invention played a major role in shaping the modern bathroom we take for granted today.

Did You Know a Black Man Created Mac and Cheese - a staple in many black homes?!?! James Hemings✊🏾🙏🏾

James Hemings – The True Father of Macaroni & Cheese in America

For Blacks. While Thomas Jefferson is often credited with bringing macaroni and cheese to America, the truth is that it was the skill and labor of his enslaved chef, James Hemings, that turned the dish into a staple we still enjoy here today.

Jefferson first encountered macaroni during his travels in Europe. When he returned, he served the dish at elite dinners, winning praise from his white peers — and history books credited him. But Jefferson wasn’t the one cooking. It was Hemings, an enslaved Black chef, preparing the meals that filled their stomachs. It was also Hemings who created it here, baked with additional ingredients to keep it from being runny...

Though his story ended in tragedy, his impact lives on every time macaroni and cheese is served at Black tables and beyond. The legacy is clear: this dish is Hemings’ gift, not Jefferson’s.
