It’s finally here! ✨

Our new Fall collection, “avance” (ah•vahnss) is named after the French term that embodies the spirit of moving forward. It is both a physical offering of clothing designed to move in, and an energetic one—a stream of energy to inspire your journey and propel you forward. No matter what chapter you’re in, how much you’re currently holding, or how terrible the state of everything feels around us, the most empowering thing we can do is~avance~and somehow find joy while doing it.

Let’s keep moving forward, together.

Nissa la Bella: a city of unmatched light. Of color, of beauty, of a certain nostalgia and wonder that can’t help but enchant the quotidien. A place that lifted me up and breathed light back into my soul when life felt the darkest.

Continuing to handcraft everything here is certainly not for convenience, nor performance. It is a conscious choice. A desire to infuse each piece with the same energy, that same warm embrace. Vieilles Âmes pieces are not defined by one city, nor one era. The idea is higher than that. Transcending time and place, they can be taken everywhere and worn anywhere. But traces of Nice can be found in the colors of our fabrics, the magical weaves of our jacquards, the luminosity of the textiles, the uplifting energy that the pieces carry. And all of that is passed onto you, the wearer, as you experience your own transformation from within. Both an elation and a calming, an invitation to come home.

The Happy Top was the very first piece ever designed for Vieilles Âmes. She was born from a decision to walk away from a toxic industry and to begin again, entirely on our own terms.

More than just a top, she embodies a reconnection to passion and murmurs a subtle hymn of sassy rebellion. Never intended to define you, she simple allows you to express the multi-faceted layers of what it means to be a woman. Handcrafted in a family-run atelier in the South of France, putting her on is a joyous invitation to come home.
