Dearest Bloo,
When I rescued you six years ago, after three others had returned you to the kill shelter and marked you aggressive, I got to you just thirty minutes before you were scheduled for euthanasia. That day—May 26, 2020—marked the beginning of the most beautiful life for you, and brought me the purest, most unconditional love and companionship.
Last night at 10/02/26 at 9:02 PM, at almost 15 years old you gained your wings in the most peaceful and dignified way, at home right next to me. Our foreheads were touching and we were chatting, just like we did every day since you rescued me.
Even though I miss you tremendously, I promise to hold on to all the beautiful memories you gave me for comfort, knowing you are a precious angel now. I experienced true love and loyalty until the end simply because of you, and I will always know that you were the one who saved me.
I will love you forever, my princess Bloo.
