KUR Collection KÚR is a downtown New York–based brand designed by Kasuni Rathnasuriya. KUR is an authentic women’s ready-to-wear brand launched by Kasuni Rathnasuriya in 2009.

The brand was founded on the idea of creating products that speak to ‘less impact on the planet and more impact on people and community.' KUR certainly does live up to its designer’s standard of expressing the sense of freedom and serenity. Since inception, KUR has been an icon of handmade craft with finer detail for the contemporary woman with an aspiration for a hallmark product.

Kasuni has now opened a store in New York in the financial district to sell these beautiful pieces. This fashion line encourages continued making of bobbin lace In Sri Lanka which has an impressive lace heritage and supports the lacemakers.
