Can you believe these custom-made jeans are the first jeans for girls that I ever made? Not women’s, but jeans for girls.

Most satisfying thing is that I drafted the pattern pretty close the first time, with only minor corrections needed. For sure they won’t be the last made in either the or brands.

Chain stitched hems will start to fade after the very first wash. It’s one of the reasons we tell people there’s no reason to cut off the hem and reattach it-which is known as an original hem alteration.

Original hem alterations are something we won’t do, because we love denim! It’s unsightly and an unnecessary thing to do to jeans.
