It’s arrived! 🎉🎉🎉

Last month, I went to Tex World NYC in search of a potential new production partner. I asked a few different companies to work on samples and we got one of them back in!

Trying to cram a full review into one video is a bit challenging.

But I was truly impressed with this sample, we gave them the go ahead to use proxies for the trims. And considering they didnt get a full techpack, just a copy of one of our hoodies, they did an excellent job.

There are definitely a few mistakes I noticed, which was completelt expected. But there were no major issues with rhis sample, in the past i’ve seen things like sleeves being different lengths, snaps being completely pulled out of the hoodie, and less than sturdy construction.

This is huge news towards our ability to release new styles, we were previously gatekept by minimum order quantities and now we might not be.

I think its almost time to reveal the uncoming Men’s / Unisex Rogue hoodie, and this parnter may be the one to make the sample 😎

As a 32 year old gaming fashion brand owner, sometimes I really struggle with imposter syndrome, especially when it comes to design. ✍️

It’s been almost two years since our Kickstarter, and I haven’t actually had the chance to deep dive into apparel design like this since then. 👀

Believe it or not, I have zero formal design training. My entire “professional” background is in corporate marketing roles. 👔

Sometimes that really gets to me and makes me wonder if I have any business calling myself a designer 😅

But what I do have is a burning obsession with the RPG fantasy genre and a “when we try, we accomplish” mentality that refuses to let me put out anything I’m not proud of. 🔥

And more than anything, I think about every single conversation I’ve had with you all. At conventions, over emails, in DMs, in the comments. 🤝

That’s what gives me the courage to keep pushing into the unknown and create things that have genuinely never been done before. 💪

And actually maybe it’s a good thing I don’t have formal design training. Because I approach it from the weirdest angle possible, and that’s kind of the whole point and the best way to engage with imagination. 🙂‍↕️

The new Men’s / Unisex Rogue hoodie has put that to the test. I’ve been grinding through iteration after iteration for the past two weeks. 😤

I think I’ve finally landed on something I genuinely love. It’s real world style, that looks like class specific armor straight out of a video game. 💯

Our upcoming Men’s Rogue hoodie is going to be FIRE 😮‍💨🔥

I’ve spent the last two weeks looking through some of my favorite games (and some suggested by you) for different Rogue class armor design and I found 3 pretty consistent factors:

👉 Rogue armor uses a multitude of fabrics, often creating a “Patchy” look
👉 Tons of utility pockets for tools and knives
👉 Some kind of flowy loose cloth, coat tails, or cape
