These last few days, as my solo exhibition “Fashion Worker” came to an end, have been a roller coaster of emotions.
It marks the closing of a beautiful and complicated chapter in my life; at times joyful, at times extraordinarily painful and the completion of a long journey for which I feel deeply blessed and grateful.
Through Fashion Worker, I sought to explore the invisible narratives embedded within fashion: labor and devotion, success and failure, migration and resilience, and the emotional traces left by love, memory and personal moments.
I am profoundly thankful to the Ashdod Museum of Art, and to the extraordinary group of people who became my partners in this unique journey and helped make it possible.
For me, creation has always begun with respect for materials, for craftsmanship, and for the hands that transform thread into something that carries meaning.
I leave this chapter with sadness, but also with a deep sense of accomplishment and with excitement and curiosity for the beautiful chapter still to come.
