I LOST 2 MONTHS NEW YORK CITY RENT TO FACEBOOK AND 'META BUSINESS SUITE'
The rapacious takeover of our lives by IG and FB to manage everything we do is so bad now that to even take a dump you need to subscribe to a side-app and then go thru 7-level verification to even use it. But the prompts (for an older, non-techy guy like me) are so complex and misguiding that somehow from boosting a couple for fire-school posts I've had 2 months rent siphoned off. Ald I agreed to was to spend 3 bux a day fr a week. It took almost 200 per day and to get anything done, I'd need an MA in computer science.
When does this end? The A.I. takeover and commodification of the individual's experience and existence? I Like soc med cos I do reach people thru it. But the rapacious greed of the thing!
Now I have too go back to verification process #5 just to try and even discover what Im supposed to do about this tho they say there is nothing TO do.

It was 2009 and me and the wife-at-the-time Abby got told there was a small plane coming to
JFK for us to be flown for 'a TV thing' to an exotic locale....

'It's St. Patrick's Day Abby!" I complained, nervously.
"So WUT? Use yer Irish charm then1" she told me, knowing my family was veeeeeeery Irish in Scotland where I am from.
Anyway, I explained.
"Nah it's just that....well, I know what they're gonna do to me.....I'm NOT gonna 'do a little leprachaun dance' on TV for them cos iot's St. Paddy's Day Abby!"
"Well OK, so just don't do it then....."
That was simple. I felt better......then I got onstage an hour later and....did a little leprachaun dance for them..........
