How does Sneaker 70 keep feet dry?
Inside the shoe is a waterproof bag lining: a protective layer that surrounds the foot and helps stop water getting through. The tongue is also joined to the sides at its lower section. This is called a bellows tongue, and it helps keep water out around the lower lace opening, where an ordinary tongue would leave a gap.
What is the upper made from?
The materials change with each colourway, but every Sneaker 70 brings together different textures inspired by outdoor footwear. Across the collection, you’ll find combinations of grain leather, suede, rubberised leather, nylon ripstop and canvas. Sneaker 70 sits on a genuine Vibram rubber sole. Its chunky hiking profile provides a sturdy base underfoot and grip for everyday walks. The sole is attached using cemented construction, meaning it is bonded to the upper, while the waterproof lining does the work of helping keep your feet dry.
