Measurement-First: More Than Just a Slogan—It’s a Methodology**

Every successful fit begins with three essential measurements:

Band - Top of the cup, just above your bust
Cup - The fullest point, across the fullest part of the bust
Band & Body shape check - snug around the ribcage.

These measurements lay the groundwork for achieving a more precise fit. However, numbers are just one part of the equation.

While measurements initiate the fitting process, it’s the fitter’s trained eye that perfects it.

There's a reason the "ditch the tape measure" conversation is happening in the UK first.

UK sizing uses tighter band conventions and finer cup gradations. The eye has less room to miss.

Classical American sizing grades differently. Bands sized differently. Cups graded differently. The eye alone, in this system, has more room to be wrong by a full size in either direction.

Measurement isn't a UK-versus-US debate. It's the bridge that keeps the methodology consistent across both. And for the American specialty retailer fitting true plus-size bodies, it's not optional.

She walked into the fitting room, afraid to be wrong about her body again.

She'd been a 38DD for fifteen years. She knew it was wrong. She didn't know what right looked like. And she'd been told, by enough fitters over enough years, that her body was the complicated one.

Methodology isn't a tool for the fitter alone. It's how a customer learns that the answer was never her body. The answer was always the math.
