A few words from some of the amazing dancers representing LaCollection this year 🤩
1. wearing the Khori 3" Soft Sole in Burgundy:
"I remember saving for my very first pair of LaDuca's. I was transitioning into musical theater and LaDuca's are THE Broadway shoe and I wanted to take my training to the next level. I felt so powerful dancing in them and from the second I put on a pair, the whole trajectory of my career changed! And now, 15 years later, having a LaDuca named after me is just SUREAL! I could never imagined from working two jobs, waking up at 4am to get on nonequity lines, and mopping floors to afford classes, that this was possible! It means so much to me but I know it’s so much bigger than me. As a black woman who is a mother, educator, and mentor whose path was anything but linear, I hope this moment uplifts and inspires the next generations of mothers, young black and brown dancers, or anyone who feels like their dreams might never come true, that they can do ANYTHING! It’s not easy, but you are ENOUGH. We all have different paths but what’s for you, is for YOU and will never miss you! I can’t thank Phil LaDuca and Brian Bustos enough for this unbelievable honor!“

"The LaDuca Brand, quite literally and figuratively, has supported me from the downbeat of my NYC career. Whether I’m wearing LaDuca's in a Broadway show, teaching classes, leading ECC auditions, kicking-my-face on Regional stages, I have always chosen LaDuca. To be chosen by them to be celebrated with a reboot of the Picini Boot is an actual dream come true. I want to leave a legacy, serve as impactful inspiration, and continuously encourage all of those in my orbit, in this incredible industry. I am endlessly grateful to LaDuca for gifting me with a brilliant platform to do just that! I am so thankful, thrilled and proud."
