I used to take the 4 train from Mosholu Parkway in the Bronx then the A train from Queens to Manhattan with a suitcase and a dress form…up and down those subway stairs was hell 😩
Y’all this shiiii was hard AF…I failed so many times. But just kept getting back up and trying again.
And here we are today! Grateful and thankful every step of the way 💃🏽💫✨

Five years ago today, I collaborated on a project and these are some of the vintage costumes I created. These garments are authentic 1920’s and 1930’s with era-specific fabrics, trim, sewing techniques and accoutrements.
Authenticity is key for me in era films…😊🙌🏽✨
