KREWE is a New Orleans-based and culturally inspired independent eyewear company that celebrates individual style with modern, iconic frames. Origin of the Name: Historically, the term "krewe" (ˈkrü) is linked to Mardi Gras, a tradition that is uniquely New Orleanian. It attempts to define the diverse group that comes together to parade in celebration of the Carnival season. Our name invokes this

spirit of creative collaboration. Our company was founded by Stirling Barrett, a New Orleans artist and creative entrepenur. His vision of the city as a thriving cultural hub was the inspiration for his launching KREWE in 2013. Our team passionately believes in spreading the culture of New Orleans and its celebration of individual style, one frame at a time.

A taste of New Orleans, at home in New York.

Last night, we gathered at our Meatpacking Flagship to welcome Chef Rob Tabone back to the city and celebrate the next chapter of PATULA NYC—a shared vision between KREWE Founder Stirling Barrett and Chef Rob, rooted in a deep belief in the art of Southern hospitality.

Over eight courses, seasonal plates met natural wines and familiar New Orleans flavors took on new form.

Now, the table is yours. PATULA NYC is officially open & serving espresso, natural wine, and small plates daily. We’d love to host you.
