Men's Yarncrafters of Washington Square Park Yarncrafting meetings for men in a natural setting. For men who love yarncrafting in a natural setting and have the free time to enjoy doing so.

Meetings are by chance or posted arrangements here on fairweather days in Greenwich Village's Washington Square Park. Look in the southeast corner of the park near the small dog run. If you see groups of men knitting, crocheting, felting or weaving, etc. on benches, you have found us. Warm weather has arrived and invites us out. All are welcome, but you must have supplies, hooks, needles, yarn, et

c. and somewhat know what you're doing. There may or may not be members willing to help with tutorials.

I'm still open to meeting up, but little interest has been expressed, and it's still too chilly for out of doors meeting. Maybe I'll try again as warmer weather approaches in the Spring of 2023.

SORRY FOLKS VISITING HERE. I NEVER MUCH MANAGED TO FIND ENOUGH INTEREST TO MEET UP WITH OTHER YARNCRAFTERS AND NOW THAT WE'RE IN A SITUATION WHERE WE CAN'T MEETUP, WELL GOOD LUCK ON YOUR OWN. KEEP THOSE HOOKS AND NEEDLES MOVING IN THIS TIME OF NEED.

Sorry folks. I only come on here from time to time due to lack of response from the membership, and would be happy to schedule regular weekly events, or even more often if there were interested parties willing to meet, but as I haven't had much response, I've not made any recent posts. Although I do go to neighborhood spots on an almost daily basis to work on crochet projects. If anyone else is interested in meeting, please drop me a message or post here. Perhaps we could find enough interested guys to build some momentum. Thank you for your interest.

I apologize to visitors for the lack of info here. I haven't been able to find others interested in meeting for public knitting in the Village. I am still willing to do so, and currently can be found sporadically at several local cafes during the cold weather. Perhaps you'd like to come and join me? Drop me a note.
