Losar Tashi Delek ལོ་གསར་བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས། and Happy Tsagaan Sar! 🐎🔥✨ We share our warmest greetings from our family to yours on Losar, the Tibetan New Year of the Fire Horse 2153 and Tsagaan Sar, the Kalmyk Mongolian New Year.

On this important holiday in Tibetan and Kalmyk Mongolian culture we share our heartfelt wishes that this year of the Fire Horse will be full of compassion in action, peace and happiness for all.

February 18, 2026 marks the first day of the Fire Horse Year 2153 in the Tibetan calendar. Tibetan astrology is based on a 12-year cycle with each year represented by a different animal and associated with one of the five elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Iron).

The Fire Horse year is widely considered one of the most intense, powerful, and transformative years in the 60-year cycle. The Horse represents speed, freedom, and the “Wind Horse” (Lung-ta) in the image above, symbolizes life force and spiritual energy. The Fire element represents transformation, purification, and illumination.
