I was the night-shift parent. My wife fed, I burped, swaddled, and tried to get our baby girl into the crib without waking her. Most nights I lost.

One night at 2 a.m. she finally fell asleep on my chest. I started swaddling her and she woke right up. Standing there in the dark I thought, why does this look simple but yet feels complicated?

That question turned into Nolele. It means “no worries” in Nigerian Pidgin, something I heard all the time growing up in Lagos.

Sometimes babies just decide… it’s time to show off. 😂🥹

One minute she was just chilling…
and out of nowhere, she started dancing like she had somewhere to be. 😂😭

That’s one of the funny things about having a baby — they’re constantly learning, moving, and discovering something new.

And those new skills can sometimes show up right when you’re trying to get them settled for sleep. 😅

But honestly… sometimes you just have to stop and enjoy the moment. ❤️😂
