Today is the final day — there’s one last show at 3 PM this Sunday.
This is my friend Mary’s performance, and I truly recommend it.
Funny enough, meeting Mary was a bit of fate.
We first connected over our shared love of orchids, and she once told me what my English name, Rory, means in Irish.
One conversation led to another, and somehow we became friends across generations.
Because of that, I’ve grown especially curious about her inner world — how she interprets her life and turns it into art.
Making a Show of Myself can mean “making a spectacle of oneself” —
whether that’s making a fool of yourself or stealing the spotlight.
She lays her life bare on stage, allowing vulnerability and humor to exist side by side.
It’s not just a show. It’s raw, honest, and incredibly powerful.
There’s laughter, there are tears, and there are those quiet moments we’ve all lived through but rarely say out loud.
If you’ve been needing a little light, a little courage, or simply the comfort of a beautifully told story — I really hope you don’t miss this one.
《Making a Show of Myself》
