Throwback Thursday. 26 years ago!
This book was published in 1998 with metallic gold as a 5th color (cmyk plus gold) and here’s a photo of my copy. It was one of the first, if not the first, pocket-sized hardcover books that I recall seeing. Asked by art director Victor Weaver at Hyperion Books (Disney) to design an understated elegant cover, I didn’t know that this would be one of many How To books in a series by the author, each one following this design format. It got very tricky and definitely not optimal to have to replace CEO with Rainmaker and with Marketing Superstar. Doubtful this design would look like it looks had I known titles would vary greatly in length. Hmm.
