This home reflects who we are and what we have become. We are rooted in it now. What my daughters and I have created for ourselves, a safe oasis of calm and beauty, was not accomplished alone. I am grateful for the artisans and talented trades I met along the way.
Also very grateful for the extraordinary team of women that helped shoot and beautify Tallulah and I in preparation for sharing our home with you. (see last slide)

My handle on history 🚪
I’ve been replacing the ordinary with the extraordinary, in our Rolling Hills Home, one door handle at a time. Victorian antique brass is a favorite, intricate craftsmanship, beautiful patinas, and little pieces of history from another era. Although I also love a beautifully modern made strong & simple brass handle with back plate to balance some of the more intricate historical designs I favor.

Because even the smallest details make such a BIG difference in your home. This is your cue to mix metals, shapes, and sizes. As long as you love it, it will be beautiful…every time you see it.

Austin’s Fall TRIBEZA HOME magazine is out🏡🍂
Of all the homes I’ve lived in this one feels the most like me. Perhaps it’s because I’ve changed every surface inch of the house to reflect who I am today or perhaps it’s because my girls and I did it ourselves and when you make every decision yourself it’s not just a home, it’s a feeling. Our happy place.

My dream shower door was out of my price range… So I designed my own 🚪
A solid bronze beauty with moulding trim on the front panel, fluted glass and a transom to let out the steam shower air. I found a family owned small business in Texas to build it for me. I designed it to look like an old bank or pharmacy door from the 1930s. Anyone else want one? I would love to help you design your dream door as well.🤎

Everytime I see it, I pinch myself. The exquisite beauty of this door, this bathroom, is not lost on me. I did not grow up with a shower door or bathroom like this, but I did grow up with imagination. And when I think I cannot do something, I allow my imagination to guide me there. It is not easy, in fact, it is quite an ordeal… but imagination for me, is how I connect to the world and to my spirit.
