Solace Leather came from a place I didn’t expect.

For a long time, I was constantly focused on work and trying to meet expectations — my own and other people’s. I didn’t really know how to slow down, and eventually, it caught up with me physically.

I had to make a change.

I started looking for something that would help me step away from the noise, even just for a little while. That’s when I found DIY and making things by hand.

Leathercraft, in particular, became something really special to me. The process of stitching, the focus it requires, the way it pulls you into the present moment — it felt incredibly grounding.

What started as a way to take care of myself slowly turned into something I couldn’t put down.

I still can’t get over this…

Every time I go out with this purse, someone asks me where I bought it.
And I get to say, “I actually made it myself.” 😊

The look on their faces? Priceless.
A mix of surprise, curiosity, and a little bit of “wait… really?!”

But honestly, what surprised me the most was how much I enjoyed the process.
Sitting down, stitching each piece together, watching it slowly turn into something real… it’s such a satisfying feeling.

I didn’t expect to fall in love with it this much — but here we are.

Now I’m already thinking about what to make next.
