What just moved past: Nephrite jade, green from mineral compression, heavier and cooler than it looks. Nanhong Agate, cinnabar red from riverbeds in Yunnan. Lapis Lazuli — the same blue in Buddhist murals, and later, Renaissance paintings. Beeswax Amber, warm to touch because it's resin, not stone.
Each cut round or flat. Each a different weight, temperature, history.
