After five years of fostering, their hearts are still drawn to the same thing: giving children the care, connection, and sense of belonging they need.

That kind of connection doesn’t happen overnight. It grows through the everyday moments when a child learns there is someone they can count on, someone who will care for them consistently and meet them where they are.

Fostering isn’t about having all the answers or knowing exactly what the road ahead will look like. Sometimes, it’s about being a steady, caring presence while a child finds their way through it.

Could you be that person for a child in your community? Learn more about becoming a resource parent. 💚

Every child deserves to feel connected to who they are and where they come from.

Their culture, traditions, language, and identity are all part of their story. When children in foster care stay connected to those parts of themselves, it can create a greater sense of stability and belonging during a time when so much may feel uncertain.

That’s why culturally connected foster homes matter. Right now, more families are needed to help children in our communities stay connected to the people, places, and traditions that help them know who they are.

Every child deserves to start the school year knowing there’s someone in their corner. ✨

Right now, there are children in your community experiencing foster care for the first time. When possible, keeping children connected to their same school, teachers, friends, and community can provide a sense of stability during an otherwise uncertain time.

That’s where resource families can make a meaningful difference. For the first day of school, the hard days, the celebrations, and all the ordinary life moments in between.

Because no child should have to carry it all alone.
