This year, it was GARYS turn to host the Forum Group! At its heart, the Forum Group is a network of minds and leaders in independent family retail — a place to brainstorm, challenge one another, learn from shared experiences, and navigate an ever-changing fashion landscape together. From store critiques and fresh merchandising perspectives to conversations about preserving generational business values, we left each meeting inspired to bring new ideas back to our own stores.

A highlight was welcoming our friends Jason Herthal and Alan Fuerstman from Montage Int’l to share insights on luxury hospitality. The parallels between the luxury traveler and our own customers sparked meaningful conversations about personalization, exceptional service, and creating memorable experiences.

From dining at our favorite Newport Beach restaurants, Duffy boat rides, to plenty of laughs, we spent a few unforgettable days learning, connecting, and enjoying time with close friends and customers.
