I took my new earrings out for a spin for an exciting event. I love this new design, because with the right neckline they function as part earrings, part necklace. I paired them with my fabulous oversized encrusted shell cuffs.

The event was in for the collaboration of with for a new collection of outdoor pieces They gifted everyone with a sweet cooler bag that you could have personalized with embroidery. It was such a lovely time, celebrating these two brands that highlight all I love about our Southern California lifestyle!

We were back in Newport Beach for the opening of one of my favorite brands newest store in Lido Marina Village. I’ve loved the brand for years, even before they opened their flagship store in Laguna Beach. Which made having an opportunity to meet the cofounders, Ollie Edwards and Lachlan Leckie so exciting for me! It was such a lovely evening full of my favorite, ‘Elevated Coastal Glam!’

I love styling outfits for events or destinations! To me it feels like solving beautiful little problems. Opening Day for - the Newport Beach International Boat Show came with some definite styling and function needs.

- a stable shoe for walking on the floating docks. It also needs to come off and on easily because they must be taken off before boarding any of the yachts.

-I wanted to be hands free while touring the docks.

- I needed a hat with ties because it’s usually windy on the water and I always want sun protection on my face!

- of course a nod to nautical blue and white, but in a fresh take on it.

- most importantly to me I wanted an outfit that felt elevated for the occasion and made my heart happy to wear!

I couldn’t be happier how the outfit elements all came together! Especially how the wrapped navy vest from came off for the VIP after party. I added my cashmere wrap and a pearl crown and my quick change was complete!

I was so happy with my Styling for our Easier Family Gathering! I have a brand new blog post where I’m sharing all the details!

If includes how I restyled another of my favorite dresses! It originally was a plain pink, before I added antique millinery flowers. This year I added a tulle skirt for a new look!

I talked all about my table in my last post! Another favorite of mine, the Accessory Bar I set up. This year’s project was making jewelry from bandannas. I simply set out all the supplies. and brought their fabulous creativity! Even sweet Lennon brought hers, making key chains for her backpack!

It was one of those wonderful family afternoons that filled my heart!

I was so happy how my table deco came out, I thought it deserved its own square! I have been intrigued with the over table rods since I saw use Our backyard farm table is 10 feet long, so I knew we’d have to do a custom installation. Jeff, who has done all of our furniture and custom interior builds, came up with the perfect design! It’s sturdy and solid , but still can betaken down when we want to change out for our umbrella.

I bought a variety of flowers from the Laguna Beach farmers market, that will dry nicely. I simply hung them with jute string. My table decor was finished with my egg collection and rosemary from my garden. I couldn’t be happier how the whole tablescape came together!

Jeff and I had the best time in at the annual It was a day long party with plenty of live music.and the perfect event to pull out my favorite western accessories! We watched the parade from and then headed over to where one of my favorite highlights was getting flowers from my favorite florist I designed my outfit around the idea of having fresh flowers in my fringed backpack! made my vision a reality! It was truly a magical day that I will tuck into my heart!
