Don’t even ask how - but the coolest stuff comes our way!

Our friend Dave aka has been shooting the Wedge since 1986. He is the mastermind behind the 1998 Wedge movie, “Thump”. Classic among classics and hard to find...maybe on VHS.
As you scroll, you’ll see where this one came from!

Dave is starting to upload parts of Thump on the YouTube channel WEDGEACTION.

The good news is we have the original movie posters from the premier back in 1998.

Once they are gone...they will be gone.

This one has been in the works for quite some time. aka is longtime Ocean City, Md fixture, pioneer, skateboarding legend, artist and all around great human. We love his art for all the obvious reasons. Maybe it’s Sea King but we are going with Wave God …because just maybe there is one. The original art piece sits at our 32nd st location and the product is now available in crew fleece and T’s. Wave God on back and 15th St Surf Shop logo by Marc on front.

It was hard not to keep posting his art and images.

What a night- thanks all for reaching out to see if 32nd St location was ok. Thank goodness all is fine. Best comment I heard from some local Newport kids getting ready for college and job market was “if these people are who we have to compete with in the world for jobs etc, we are going to be just fine”.
No one has the answer how to stop this from happening again, but we have faith that our local community can make an impact. We are probably most embarrassed for these kids parents - Great to see all the locals cleaning up. And big thanks to efforts of
