Why is our brand so expensive?

Haus of Hookers started because we wanted to revolutionize the world of crochet. We strive to make quality product that will last for years. The issue with SHEIN is..yes…you will find crochet for cheaper…but it will not last and you’ll never have to understand the amount of work that was put into making that item. THERE IS NO CROCHET MACHINE!! This is what goes into a Haus of Hookers handmade design…
1. We make our own patterns = time, dedication, math skills, construction skills, color knowledge and fashion knowledge.
2. We purchase higher end yarn = not your average bin yarn at Michael’s. Yes we can offer that if you are concerned about the price ..but that old saying..you get what you pay for 💁🏽‍♀️
3. Time= some of the pieces we construct can take up to a month to finish
4. Physicality: we work our hands overtime. Our bodies will eventually break down from our craft. We may develop arthritis or carpel tunnel. We live with kinks in our necks and backs.
5. Mistakes = getting 99% through a project to find out you messed up and have to take your work out to redo it

These are just a couple of things as to why we come up with our prices. You may look at it as “expensive” …we look at it as a masterpiece that can not be duplicated. 👏🏽 We will not compromise because we know our worth and we know that the price you pay today..will be something you can stretch out for 10+years.
