Oh gas boilers, noble heat providers, art
That warms our homes with gentle flames so bright,
Thou givest life to frozen hearts apart,
And banish all the cold with thy warm sight.
Yet in thy service, lies a hidden part,
That oft is overlooked by many a host,
And though thou bringeth joy to every heart,
Thy health is oft ignored and given the most.
Oh, let thy annual check be not a chore,
But a loving touch, to keep thee in thy prime,
And let not faults that may arise be a roar,
But a small hindrance, fixed in naught time.
For when thou art in thy full power dressed,
Thou bringeth comfort, and our hearts at rest.
