You vs. You
Join Run Newport and HOKA on Saturday, July 11th for the 1st Annual Run Newport FLYK and PR Party, a free community 5K experience built for fast personal times, big smiles, golden-hour miles, and a beachside celebration to finish the night.
This run will take place on a USATF Certified Course known as one of the fastest 5K routes in Rhode Island. Whether you are chasing a personal record, getting back into racing, walking with friends, or just looking for a beautiful summer run along the coast, this event is designed for all paces and all levels.
The course offers some of the best views in the state.
Event Schedule
5:15 PM – Tailgate, Meet and Greet, and Parking Opens
Meet us at the Third Beach Parking Lot for a relaxed pre-run tailgate/meetup
6:00 PM – Group Warm-Up from parking lot to the Start Line (.2 miles)
6:30 PM – 5K Run Begins
The run starts at golden hour on a fast, scenic course built for PRs. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.
Post-Run – Beach Party
HOKA Giveaways
HOKA will be joining us for the event and helping make the night extra special. The first 10 people to sign up will receive shoes from HOKA. There will also be secret giveaways for runners and walkers, so come ready for a few surprises for the first 80 signups.
Although this is a free, unsanctioned run, we are limiting sign-ups to 129 people so we can keep the event manageable and make sure giveaways are available for participants. Since this is an unsanctioned run all runners are on their own.
