Sussex Habitat for Humanity, NJ Homeowners are selected based on their need for housing, their ability to repay a mortgage and their willingness to work in partnership with Habitat.

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is a 100% volunteer-run organization that uses donated labor and materials from the local community, homeowners' 'sweat equity', and corporate 'gifts-in-kind' to make safe and affordable housing a reality for low-income individuals. We welcome all people—regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or any other difference—to help us build and repair simple, decent, a

ffordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter. Habitat seeks no profit from our work, and we charge no interest on the housing loan we provide our selected Habitat families. We want to continue to improve the communities we work in by gathering and welcoming volunteers, homeowners, and supporters from all backgrounds. To do this, we need our community to support us.
