Quilty Critters Quilty Critters® is:
Upcycling vintage quilts into funny little animals
It's like painting with fiber... and turning fabrics into delightful ittle creatures!

I also like to recreate images of people's beloved lost pets into heirloom memorial keepsakes. The individual Quilty Critters are created - by hand - one at a time, and no two are alike. They range in size from 2" up to 22" and are very unique, a blend of antique quilt bits, vintage buttons and notions, ribbons, charms, this and that - and hand embroidered into some of the silliest characters that

you have ever seen. Most have cords for hanging and are very lightweight. They are all backed with felt and lovingly stuffed with cat hair. LOL! No, they are all stuffed with new hypo allergenic fluff stuffing.

I really need to concentrate on building back my business and come out of the chemo fog I have been under. I WILL NOT let neuropathy muck up my talent. Even though one Quilty Critter® might take more than a week to make... ugh. It's like painting with fabric I suppose. A passion I am not ready to let die out.

I am thrilled to be a Star Seller for the Month of March! Whoooo hoooo! Before I sold on Etsy, I sold my Quilty Critters® on Ebay, and at random Bazaars and Markets, Grey Fox, Etc. So the total sales really is quite a lot more, as well as how many I have given away - to the tune of close to 5,000! Ah, me aching fingers! I now battle neuropathy and so creating these is both a challenge and a therapy for me, but I am NOT giving up. Slow and steady wins the race. Am I tooting my own horn? Perhaps. But if I don't, who will? And there you have it. Huzzah!
