Did you know that this September, October and November, Media Fellowship House, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery & Delaware Counties, is offering a FREE five-part Home Repair Essentials Workshop Series? 🔨

The series covers practical topics like:

✨ Seasonal home maintenance & upkeep

🚨 DIY emergency & temporary repairs

🏠 Understanding major home systems & repair budgeting

🔧 Hiring and vetting contractors

♿ Aging in place & home accessibility

📅 Beginning September 14

This spare bedroom had gradually become a storage space for the homeowner’s adult children, filled with containers of clothing, kitchenware, mail, and even Christmas gifts and wrapping supplies waiting to be given.

We sorted through everything with purpose:

✨ Clothing was packed up for donation.

✨ Mail was separated and discarded where appropriate.

✨ Gifts and wrapping supplies were relocated to the basement for easy access.

Now, instead of serving as an overflow storage room, this space is ready to welcome visiting grandchildren with comfort and ease. It’s amazing how a thoughtful organizing session can transform a room back into its intended purpose.

Sometimes, the smallest changes make the biggest impact. ✨

Our social media manager, Annie, recently gave her kitchen a little refresh by tackling one of the biggest clutter magnets in the home - the countertops.

By consolidating supplements, finding better homes for storage containers, and reorganizing a few kitchen cabinets, she was able to clear the counters and create a space that’s both functional and inviting. Now, only the everyday essentials are within reach, making the kitchen feel more open and much more enjoyable to cook in. 🍳🏡
