Growing up in South Jersey, my brothers were quite a bit older than I was, and our backyard was always filled with their friends playing basketball, football, soccer, whiffle ball, etc. Being more than 8 years younger than them, I was often the target of plenty of good-natured teasing. But over the years, those guys became much more than my brothers’ friends—they became like brothers to me as well.
Fast forward to today, and life has come full circle. This month, I had the privilege of dressing one of those friends, Ken Kennedy, along with his son Sean, for Sean and Lauren’s wedding.
Although I now live more than 60 miles away, Ken and Sean made the trip up and trusted me to be a small part of such an important day in their lives. It was especially meaningful because it reminded me how fortunate I am to have maintained friendships that span a lifetime.
I’m truly honored that they placed their trust in me for such a special occasion, and I’m grateful to have played a small role in celebrating Sean and Lauren as they begin this new chapter together.
Sean and Lauren, may God bless you with a lifetime of love, happiness, good health, and countless cherished memories. Wishing you many wonderful years together as husband and wife. 😘🥰
